Start Tomorrow????

After having countless discussions amongst the Class 40 fleet regarding the idea of postponing our own start due to the weather the race directors have decided to consider the option and we will be finding out at our briefing at 0930 tomorrow morning if we actually are starting. If we do in fact take the start on schedule make sure to follow the race tracker on the official TJV website at, http://www.transat-jacques-vabre.com/, and check in our facebook page often for updates from on board during the race, http://www.facebook.com/40DegreesSailingTeam.

Professional Sailing, Project Management and Yacht Design Consulting

RealitySailing was formed in 2008 as a business to manage my 2009 Mini Transat campaign, aptly named with my Mini 6.50 racing yacht being named Reality. After becoming the youngest American to ever complete a Mini Transat at the age of 24 my career in offshore sailing progressed and RealitySailing evolved accordingly.

With thousands of miles of offshore racing experience, many successful racing projects managed to date and an ongoing involvement in yacht design RealitySailing offers a broad skillset to bring to any project. Whether it be managing and optimizing an existing racing project, overseeing the design, build and fit-out of a new boat, consulting on an existing design project or managing my own sponsored racing campaigns the experience we bring to the table will benefit any project in the realm of offshore sailing.
